Dr. Fazzini graduated in 1977 from Temple University School of Dentistry with his D.D.S. degree. After serving in the US Navy for 2 years at Parris Island, South Carolina, he moved to Pittsburgh to join a large cosmetic and restorative practice in downtown Pittsburgh. In 1986 he opened his own practice in The Park Building where he still practices advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry today as well as dental sleep medicine (helping those with snoring and sleep apnea find relief).
Dr. Fazzini has been a life long member of the Academy of General Dentistry where he has been awarded Fellowship status. He also holds memberships in the American Dental Association, The Pennsylvania Dental Association and The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
He is an alumnus of the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida, The Schuster Center for Professional Development in Scotsdale, Arizona and the curriculum of The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He continues to be an active student of dentistry through his regular attendance at national conferences and symposia.
In 2012 Dr. Fazzini became affiliated with Pittsburgh Dental Sleep Medicine, PC (http://www.pittsburghdentalsleepmedicine.com/). He has studied extensively with Dr. Robert Rogers, a recognized national figure in the study of dental sleep medicine, and has become his associate in practice. In 2015 Dr. Fazzini was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine as an acknowledgement of his expertise.
In addition to his downtown Pittsburgh office Dr. Fazzini has suburban locations in Harmarville and Monroeville.
Dr. Fazzini has been married to Janet for 40 years and they have three grown children.
